Enabling Damp Alert on your Samsung Smart Dryer

Samsung Smart Dryers come with a Damp Alert function, which alerts you when shirts and other items that require ironing are dry enough and suitable for ironing. Follow the guide below for steps on how to enable the damp alert on your dryer.
Note:
- Damp Alert is only available on the Heat Pump Smart Dryer models.
- Damp Alert is available for Cotton, Synthetics, Mixed Load, and Silent Dry with the Dry Level set to 2 or 3. For a guide on dry levels, please click here.
Enabling Damp Alert

Select a cycle and change the cycle settings of your choosing.

Tap the hand icon

Turn the Navigation dial to select Damp Alert, and then tap the circle icon

Then, tap and hold the Start/Pause 
button.

Damp Alert Sounds During a Cycle
If the Damp Alert alarm sounds during a cycle, you can do the following to remove the items:

Tap and hold the Start/Pause button to pause the cycle.

Open the door and take out the items you would like to iron.

Close the door, then tap and hold the Start/Pause button to resume drying the remaining items.
