What should I do when my Samsung Air conditioner makes noise?
Ignoring the mysterious noises from your AC can turn minor issues into major expenses, as these noises could signal anything from needing a simple tune-up to costly repairs, to worst-case replacement of the entire unit. The sooner you can determine the cause of the noise and resolve your AC issues, the better.
If you hear a loud noise or vibration coming from the air conditioner, check the sound if it comes from the indoor unit or the outdoor unit, try the suggested solution in the table below.

Note: If noise occurs in the outdoor unit, unplug the outdoor unit and plug it in again after 30 seconds.

Note:
- The appearance of the unit may be different from the diagram depending on your model.
- The Indoor unit that is installed inside the room should always be at a greater height than the outdoor unit.
- The length of the pipe that connects the indoor and outdoor unit should be at least 3 meters.
- The height difference between the indoor and outdoor unit from the ground depends on the model and the length of the pipe used. Refer to the installation manual for the maximum pipe length and height difference.
