What to do if my Samsung microwave is sparking during operation?

Microwaves cause these sparks when they react with gold paint on dishes, twist ties, and other metallic materials such as aluminum foil. Typically, removing these types of objects will resolve the issue.
Check the below to avoid the issue:

Check that the glass tray is in place.
While in use, the microwave requires the glass turntable to be in place. Using the microwave without the turntable can result in damage.

Remove any metallic items.
Remove any metallic utensils, metal cookware, metal ties, or plates with gold decorations from inside the microwave.

Check that the microwave is not on when it is empty.
