What to do if my Samsung washing machine is leaking water from the front door
Small leaks are simply repaired with simple maintenance. Kindly follow these steps to learn how to solve it.
Water may leak through the door gasket (diaphragm) during operation for one of the following reasons:
• Damaged/torn door gasket (diaphragm) or wire diaphragm
If the door gasket (diaphragm) is broken, replace it with a new one.
• Foreign substances on the door gasket (diaphragm) or the door glass
Clean your front loader's glass door and door gasket (diaphragm) for a leak-proof seal.
• Inadequate sealing status
Check for a tiny gap between the door gasket (diaphragm) and the door glass. If the gap is not caused by foreign materials, replace the door hinge.
When washing, always use the recommended amount of HE detergent. Another possible reason for water leaking from the rear of the washing machine through the safety air vent is the buildup of detergent residue. Run the Self Clean Cycle many times to get rid of any leftovers.
• Take out the compartment and wash it with tap water.
• Use a soft towel to clean the area around the dispenser.
