Galaxy Ring

The Galaxy Ring supports wireless charging, making it even more convenient to keep it powered up. Here's a guide on how to charge it wirelessly, including precautions and steps for using wireless power sharing.

The charging case has a built-in wireless charging coil. You can charge the battery by using a wireless charger (sold separately).

  1. Open the charging case and align the orientation indicator of the ring with the marker on the charging case’s ring holder and place it in the charging case.

  2. Close the charging case and place the center of the charging case’s bottom on the center of the wireless charger.

  3. After fully charging, disconnect the charging case from the wireless charger.
  • Do not place the charging case on the wireless charger if there are any conductive materials, such as metal objects or magnets, between the case and the charger. Doing so could cause improper charging, overheating, or even damage to the charging case.

  • Always use Samsung-approved wireless chargers. Non-approved chargers may result in improper charging or battery issues.

The Galaxy Ring can also be charged using the Wireless Power Sharing feature from compatible devices. This allows you to charge your Ring using the battery of another device that supports this feature.

Steps for Wireless Power Sharing:

  1. Open the charging case, align the orientation indicator of the Ring with the marker on the charging case’s ring holder, and place the Ring inside.

  2. Close the charging case and turn on the Wireless Power Sharing feature on the device that will act as a wireless charger.

  3. Place the center of the charging case’s bottom on the device that functions as a wireless charger. You may need to adjust the alignment to ensure a strong connection, as the location of the wireless charging coil can vary by device.

Note:

  • You can charge your Galaxy Ring while charging the device that acts as a wireless charger at the same time.
  • Wireless power sharing may not work properly if a cover or accessory is attached to the device. It is recommended to remove any cover before using this feature.
