How to connect a Galaxy Watch to a smartphone?
Galaxy Watch is designed to make your life easier in every way possible. It analyses your health, monitors your exercise activity, lets you play music and make phone calls. On top of that, you can connect your Galaxy Watch to any type of smartphone, no matter if it is Android™ or iOS™. Below, find out how you can connect your Galaxy Watch to your smartphone.
To connect your Galaxy Watch to a smartphone with Bluetooth, use the following steps:
- Launch Galaxy Wearable → Tap Start → When the Bluetooth launch window appears, select a product to connect to → Tap Done
If you already have a connected wearable device,
- Launch Galaxy Wearable → Menu (3 horizontal lines in the upper left corner) → Add new device.
Please note:
- Make sure your Galaxy Watch is powered on through the connection process.
- Before connecting your smartphone, you must install the Galaxy Wearable application. Samsung's Android™ smartphones may use the Galaxy Store or Play Store™. Other Android™ smartphones must use the Play Store™ while iOS™ smartphones must use the Apple Store™.
Before connecting your Galaxy Watch to a new smartphone, be sure to back up any data stored on your Galaxy Watch in a safe place.
When a new smartphone is connected, the Galaxy Watch will automatically recognise the new device, and an initialization guide message will appear.
