How to keep an app from closing on a phone screen by pinning it?

Occasionally, we find ourselves needing to share our phones with friends, colleagues, or even our children. There's a concern that they may inadvertently access areas or applications they shouldn't. This concern is particularly heightened when allowing our kids to use our phones for a bit of playtime. Here's a clever method to secure a single app on the screen while passing your phone to someone.

Step 1. Open the app you want to pin.

Step 2. Tap on the Recents button (leftmost button on the bottom of the screen). Or if you're using Swipe gestures, swipe up from the bottom of the screen and hold.

Step 3. Tap on the icon above the app you want to pin and select Pin this app.

To unpin the app, press and hold the Recents button and Back button at the same time.
