How to make and answer calls on your Samsung smart watch
You can place and take calls directly from your wrist, depending on your smartwatch! All you have to do is make sure the watch is Bluetooth or mobile network connection to your phone. Even handling calls remotely is possible with an LTE watch model.
If you need to use your hands for anything else, you can make and take calls using your watch and then carry the discussion on your phone. Remember that unless your watch includes an integrated microphone and speakers, such as the Galaxy Watch Active2, Galaxy Watch3, Galaxy Watch4 series, Galaxy Watch5 series, or Gear S3, you cannot make or answer calls directly on your watch. Rings may only be rejected on the Galaxy Fit and Fit2. If your watch is a Bluetooth model, it must be Bluetooth-connected to your phone to place calls.
Swiping the green phone symbol to the right when a call rings while you're not near your phone will answer it. Swipe the red phone symbol to the left to reject a call, and the call will be ignored.
If another call comes in while you're already talking, no problem! If you choose to answer, just swipe the green phone icon, and then tap Hold current call, or End current call. If the first call is on hold, and you'd like to switch back, just tap More options (the three vertical dots) and then tap Swap.
