How to request a Remote Management service for Samsung Smart Phones and Tablets?
Samsung Remote Service allows one of our Samsung Care Pros to remotely view and control your smartphone in order to provide direct assistance with your product.
Remote Service can provide:
- Help set up a Google and Samsung account
- Software and application updates
- Backups & factory data resets
- Help with setting up email accounts and day-to-day tasks

- Optimized device settings and advice on how to use features
- All steps are shown live on-screen
Remote Service requirements
- Your device is running a minimum of Android Version 2.4
- Your device has a stable internet connection
- Your device has the Smart Tutor application installed from the Google Play Store
Note: Your smartphone or tablet must be linked to a high-speed internet connection for Remote Service to function. You are strongly advised to connect to WiFi since using mobile data beyond your allocation may result in network fees. For further information, kindly get in touch with your network provider.
Download and install the Smart Tutor app which is free from the Google Play Store or Samsung Galaxy App.
- Open the App by tapping the Smart Tutor Icon.
- Tab OK after checking app information.
- Read and accept the Terms and conditions If you agree with them.
- If you are prompted to install an update then please do so by following the on-screen instructions.

- Input PIN Code.
- Connected to Remote Services.
A security alert will appear when a Samsung service representative attempts to access programs that may contain private information (such as 'Messages,' 'Phonebook,' 'Gallery,' 'Camera,' and so on). The notification will ask you if you want our Samsung Care Pro to have access to these applications. Please remember that a Samsung service representative cannot operate your device without your permission.
If you do not want the Samsung service representative to access a particular application that includes private information, select the "No" option.
- Tap the Smart Tutor connection at the bottom of the notification bar.
- The lock menu will appear.
- When you tap the menu, it shows "Unlocked" and no longer shares the display screen.
