Simplified app names in Galaxy One UI 6
Galaxy users will notice some subtle changes with the release of Galaxy One UI 6 (Android Version 14). For instance, the names displayed with several Samsung app icons have been simplified, making it easier for users to recognize apps at a glance.
Simplified labels
Simplifying app labels for Galaxy One UI 6 (Android Version 14) includes limiting app names to one line on Galaxy home screens by removing the words 'Samsung' and 'Galaxy' from the displayed names of apps. This change creates a cleaner, more organized appearance, helping users find their favorites more easily.
Note: The actual name of the app has not changed, only the way it appears on both the home screen and app screen.
