The Samsung phone's applications aren't sending notifications.
In the age of mobile technology, smartphones have become an integral part of our daily lives. One of the key features of these devices is their ability to deliver timely notifications from various applications, keeping us informed and connected. However, it can be frustrating when applications fail to send notifications as expected. If you're facing this issue, you're not alone. In this article, we will explore potential reasons why your Samsung phone's applications may not be sending notifications and provide troubleshooting steps to help you resolve the problem.
Swipe down from the top of the screen to open the Quick settings panel.
If it's illuminated, tap the Power saving icon to turn off Power saving mode. This could be preventing notifications from displaying.
If it's illuminated, tap the Do not disturb icon to disable this feature. This could also be blocking notifications.
Navigate to Settings, then tap Notifications, and then tap on App notifications then use the toggle in the following applications list to enable notifications for your applications
Navigate to Settings, then tap Notifications, and then tap on Lock screen notifications and then enabe the toggle in the following menu.
Navigate to Settings, then tap on Battery, and then disable the Power saving option.
Navigate to Settings, then tap on Connections, then tap on Data usage then tap on Data saver and disable it.
Navigate to Settings, then tap on Apps, then tap on the menu icon (The 3 dots on the top right of the screen), then tap on Reset app preferences and confirm by tapping on reset.
Navigate to Settings, then tap on Battery, then tap on Background usage limits then toggle on the Put unused apps to sleep option.
Navigate to Settings, then tap on Apps, then choose the app you're facing an issue with, then tap on Storage then Clear Cache.
Navigate to Settings, then tap on Apps, then choose the app you're facing an issue with, then tap on App details in store and update it if there's an update available.
Then, Navigate to Settings and tap on Software Update and tap on Download and install to check for updates.
