What should you do if the sound quality on Samsung earbuds is poor
If you're using Galaxy Buds and feel that the volume of the left and right earbuds is low or poor , try out the recommended solution below.
Before you try the recommendations below, be sure to check if your device's software and related apps are updated to the latest version. Please check the following steps for how to update your mobile device's software.
Step 1. Go to Settings > Software update.
Step 2. Tap on Download and install.
Step 3. Follow the on-screen instructions.
The sound volume of your Galaxy Buds Pro may be poor on the left and right, if the earbuds are not worn properly.
For the best sound quality and normal functioning, it is very important to place the Galaxy Buds Pro perfectly in your ears. If you don't wear the earbuds properly, they may not work, or sound quality may be poor.
Ambient sound mode allows you to hear sounds in the background while you are on a phone call. You could potentially hear a lot of background noise while talking. You should turn off Ambient sound mode to prevent this. However, if you have the Galaxy Buds Live or Galaxy Buds Pro, you should turn on Active noise canceling, which will prevent background noise from getting through. The Buds Live do not have Ambient sound mode.
When you insert the earbuds into your ears, make sure the wing tips are facing upwards until they sit comfortably. Then, rotate the earbuds left or right for a snug fit.
The Buds Live do not have wing tips. Please see the next step for information on how to wear them properly.
You can increase the sound on your phone using the Volume up key. If the volume is set to max but the sound output is low, it is probably because the phone and earbuds have two separate volume controls.
If they have a low battery, it may be necessary to charge the earbuds. You can check the battery level in the Galaxy Wearable app. Alternatively, you can insert the earbuds in the case to check the battery life. Depending on your earbuds, the charging case indicator light will be located on the front or rear of the case.

On the connected phone, open Settings, tap Connections, and then turn off the switch for Bluetooth. The earbuds and other Bluetooth devices will disconnect. Next, open the app you were using when you experienced the poor audio quality. Try playing a song without the headphones connected. If the issue still occurs, make sure the app is up to date.
On the connected phone, open Settings and check if you have any sound settings enabled, such as sound personalization or Dolby Atmos. These settings could affect your music's sound quality.
Make sure to use the earbuds and your device within 30 feet of each other. The necessary distance may vary depending on the environment and the earbud model.
Avoid using the device near obstructions that can block the Bluetooth signal, such as walls, routers, electrical equipment, or electromagnetic waves.
To restart your phone, press and hold the Power key or Side key. Tap Power off, and then tap Power off again. After the phone has shut completely down, press the Power or Side key again to restart it. Next, restart your earbuds if possible. If this does not work, you can try completely resetting the earbuds.
