When a Samsung TV receiver is not working, there are several steps you can take to troubleshoot and potentially resolve the issue:

  • Check Connections: Ensure that all cables (antenna, HDMI, etc.) are securely connected to the TV and the receiver.
  • Restart TV and Receiver: Turn off the TV and receiver, unplug them from power, wait a few minutes, then plug them back in and turn them on.
  • Test with Another Source: Try connecting another source (such as a DVD player or game console) to the TV to see if the issue is with the receiver or the TV itself.
  • Update Software: Check if there are any software updates available for your TV and Install and Update TV.
  • Try a Different Input: If you have multiple inputs (e.g., HDMI, component, AV), try connecting the receiver to a different input on the TV to see if the issue is with the input port.
  • Inspect for Physical Damage: Check the receiver and cables for any physical damage, such as cuts, fraying, or bent pins. Replace damaged cables if necessary.
  • Factory Reset TV: As a last resort, you can perform a factory reset on your TV from : ( Settings -  Support- Self Diagnosis-  Reset- Enter PIN- Confirm Reset ).
