How do I prevent my Samsung refrigerator from moving when I open its door?

If the refrigerator moves when you open the door it might not be levelled. There should be two stabilising feet at the front of your refrigerator unit that you can adjust to stop the unit from moving. The unit is designed to slope backwards slightly. If the front of the appliance is a bit higher than the rear the door can be opened and closed more easily. Turn the adjusting legs clockwise to raise the height and anti-clockwise to lower it.

To adjust the legs follow the instructions below. Please note that there may be a different type of stabilising feet on your model to those pictured below.

• If the appliance tilts down to the left turn the left adjusting leg as indicated until the appliance is levelled.

• If the appliance tilts down to the right turn the right adjusting leg as indicated until the appliance is levelled.
