Highly-rated public school district installs Samsung displays for continued academic excellence
Located in the United States, a highly-rated, academically successful public school district – including more than 50 schools from pre-elementary to high school – implemented a ‘smart school’ project to cover all its schools in the district. The district purchased 4,500 Samsung displays for the project, including a variety of models and screen sizes for multiple learning environments. These displays included screen size options such as 43”, 49”, 55”, 65”, 75”, 85”, and 98” for use within the following spaces:
- Auditorium: 98”, 85” for school events and ceremonies
- Hallway: 75”, 65” for billboard screen – real-time announcements and alarms
- Classroom: 55” for digitalised education
- Teachers’ meeting room: 49”, 43”
Each display purchased included Samsung’s powerful content and device management solution, MagicINFO, enabling centralised management of visual communications for students, teachers and parents. In addition to sharing important school-related information and updates, the display solution also provided urgent event notices, for instances such as a fire, earthquake or other issues impacting the area. The offering of both high-quality displays and an intelligent management solution was the key reason behind the school district selecting Samsung as its partner.
Major school district selects Samsung Business TV for easy and efficient content sharing
A major school district, the tenth largest in its respective state, launched a classroom renewal project. The ambition was to modernise each school and ensure the delivery of clear and concise content. For the project, 3,000 units of the Samsung Business TV were purchased along with the Business TV app, for installation in almost 40 schools throughout the district, including high schools and special education schools. The Business TV is a 75-inch display, perfectly suited for a digitised education environment which needs to consistently deliver content in an easy and efficient way, during multiple learning situations. In addition to the visual benefits of the display, the Biz TV app also enables the delivery of various information notices and updates. And with a three-year warranty for added customer protection, the Business TV and app was a straightforward choice, with Samsung as the optimal partner.
100-year-old publishing group continues to innovate with Samsung digital displays
Located in Europe, a 100-year-old education institution made the decision to invest in a project to create smarter schools. With a long history of innovation in the education sector and commitment to new technologies, the customer purchased 1,200 Samsung interactive displays to be installed within many schools across the district. Samsung’s interactive display, Flip, provides key features that enable simplified visual communication for students, teachers and parents, including pen and brush mode which allows up to four users to write simultaneously. In addition, annotation on, merge to roll, versatile connectivity and screen sharing allows seamless collaboration for a productive education environment. Supporting the intuitive features is a sleek, white design, available in a 65-inch size. The combination of intelligent features, impressive audio-visual delivery and aesthetic design, is the key reason behind Samsung being chosen.
One of largest US charter school support organisations, Academica, reimagines the classroom with Samsung display solutions
Samsung partnered with Academica – one of the largest charter school support organisations in the U.S., serving more than 200 public charter schools and 125,000 students in nine states – to reimagine the classroom for the 21st century. The partnership was created during the new learn-from-home era, as traditional classroom settings must be enhanced with virtual setups that are interactive and engaging. In preparation for the 2020/21 school year, Academica surveyed parents to get a better understanding of how to plan for the fall semester. Over half (59%) indicated they preferred a mixture of classes in both physical and online classrooms. Given this feedback, Academica knew incorporating more technology in the on-campus classrooms would be paramount and quickly began designing the Classroom of the Future (COTF). As a result of that study, Academica is installing 4,500 Samsung Pro TVs in over 2,300 classrooms in 125 of its schools across several states including Florida, South Carolina and Nevada. Large format displays allow teachers to adapt to the new normal and engage with each student on a one-to-one level whether they are in a physical classroom or in a remote setting.
