  • What is an NFT?

    NFTs (non-fungible tokens) are the future of digital ownership which is poised to open up a whole new world of possibilities for many groups of people including YOU – a potential NFT collector! The Samsung Members NFT collections will be minted by our service provider, CCCV, and secured by the Aergo blockchain technology. See below for more information on the Samsung Members NFTs (including how you can use these NFTs).

  • Samsung aims to increase the exclusivity and privilege for our regional Members, and to enable them to experience Web3 in a simple, yet fun way!

  • Samsung Members NFTs act as a key that will allow holders to unlock exclusive experiences and rewards with Samsung. In the future, you may also be able to transfer the NFT to your personal wallet or trade your NFT (see below for further information on this).

  • You can view your Samsung Members NFT collection on the Samsung Members web platform by logging into your Samsung Members account.

    In the future, you may also be able to view your NFT on the CCCV platform. If you choose to do this, you may be required to log into the CCCV platform with your Samsung Member details (to connect your Samsung Members NFT to the platform) and then you may need to separately sign up to the CCCV platform (which may entail you signing up to CCCV’s terms and providing certain information, such as your email address).

  • Samsung Members NFTs that are made exclusively available on the Samsung Members web platform are simply a digital collectible and cannot be transferred to other wallets.

    In the future, it is possible that you may be able to sign up to and use the CCCV platform to convert your Samsung Members NFT from the Aergo blockchain to the Ethereum blockchain. This conversion will be subject to additional gas fees that you will need to pay to CCCV. If you choose to convert your Samsung Members NFT to the Ethereum blockchain, you will then be able to transfer this NFT to your personal crypto wallet (subject to this wallet supporting Ethereum-based tokens). Please note that if you convert your Samsung Members NFT to the Ethereum blockchain, you will no longer be able to view your NFT in the Samsung Members web platform.

  • Samsung Members NFTs that are made exclusively available on the Samsung Members web platform cannot be traded.

    In the future, as explained above, you may be able to convert your Samsung Members NFT from the Aergo blockchain to the Ethereum blockchain using the CCCV platform. You cannot trade the Samsung Members NFT on the CCCV platform.

    However once you have made this conversion you will be able to transfer the Samsung Members NFT to your personal crypto wallet (subject to this wallet supporting Ethereum-based tokens). Once you have done this, you can then choose to trade the Samsung Members NFT on other NFT platforms that support Ethereum blockchain.

    Please note that if you convert your Samsung Members NFT to the Ethereum blockchain, you will no longer be able to view your NFT in the Samsung Members web platform.

  • Samsung will cover the initial gas and minting fees involved in creating your Samsung Members NFT and including this Samsung Members NFT on the Samsung Members web platform.

    As explained above, in the future it is possible you may be able to convert your Samsung Members NFT from the Aergo blockchain to the Ethereum blockchain (including to transfer your Samsung Members NFT to your personal crypto wallet). CCCV is responsible for this conversion process and if you choose to make this conversion, it will be subject to additional gas fees as determined by CCCV (and you will need to pay such gas fees to CCCV).

  • The NFTs will be minted on the CCCV platform and will be protected by the Aergo blockchain technology.

    In the future you may be able to convert your Samsung Members NFT from the Aergo blockchain to the Ethereum blockchain using the CCCV platform (which will be subject to additional gas fees payable by you, as explained in detail above).

  • You do not need to create a crypto wallet to access and view your Samsung Members NFT.

    In the future, you may be able to trade your Samsung Members NFT. As explained above, to do this you will need to convert your Samsung Members NFT from the Aergo blockchain to the Ethereum blockchain using the CCCV platform (which will be subject to additional gas fees payable by you, as explained in detail above).

    If you choose to do this and you want to trade your Samsung Members NFT, you will need to transfer this NFT to your personal crypto wallet (which must support Ethereum-based tokens) and trade the Samsung Members NFT on other NFT platforms that support Ethereum blockchain.

  • The Samsung Members NFT can be won through your participation in our Members’ only activities. We will also be releasing more NFTs in the future, so stay tuned and find out how you can grow your NFT collection!
