After you calibrate your Galaxy Watch, you do not need to use the cuff-based monitor when you use the Blood Pressure app on your Galaxy Watch to take your blood pressure.
However, you may calibrate your Galaxy Watch any time before every 28 days by selecting 'Recalibrate' from the menu on the Blood Pressure History screen. After 28 days from your last calibration, measurements cannot be made. This is enforced by the certificating authority for measurement accuracy.
You can go to 'Notifications' in the drawer menu and turn on ‘Calibration reminder', and will be notified 3 days prior to calibration.
