Using Samsung Internet

Secret mode gives you the same browsing experience as you would normally experience in Samsung Internet, but with extra privacy and protection.

Cookies and browsing history for any websites you visit in Secret mode will be erased from your phone as soon as all your Secret mode tabs are closed.

You can even save pages and bookmarks in Secret mode. However, anything you save in Secret mode will only be visible in Secret mode.

If you want to activate Secret mode, follow these steps:

Step 1. Run the Samsung Internet browser.

Step 2. On the main screen of your Samsung Internet browser, tap on the tab manager icon on the bottom, where you can manage your open pages.

Step 3. Activate Secret mode by tapping "Turn on Secret Mode".

Step 4. On the next screen, you can see a guide explaining this mode. If you decide to activate Secret mode, tap the "Start" button.

When browsing with Samsung Internet, you may encounter lots of ads that you want to get rid of. With the ad blocking feature of Samsung Internet, you can experience fast and clean web browsing without ads.

The Samsung Internet app is just as adaptable as your other apps. It provides you with options so that you can always find a new way to rearrange your icons, change a setting, and make your layout just the way you like it. 

Step 1. Open the “Samsung Internet Browser” and click menu (≡) on the bottom right corner.

Step 2. Click on the “Settings” icon.

Step 3. Select “Layout and menu”.

Step 4. Select “Customise menu”.

Step 5. Set the menu layout.
