Certain Portable SSD products have shock-resistant characteristics. This means that normal operation has been recognised through the test under controlled conditions. However, the degree of impact from a drop may vary, depending on the environmental conditions. The warranty does not cover damage resulting from a fall (including external damage).

Regardless of the method used, modifying or tampering with the Samsung SSD will void Samsung's warranty on the SSD.
After receiving the SSD, Samsung Authorised Service Center will evaluate its condition and verify the serial number and model code to confirm that the warranty is valid. Once verified, Samsung Authorised Service Center will inspect the SSD for any issues. If there is a problem with the returned SSD that is covered by warranty, Samsung Authorized Service Center will exchange the drive with another SSD and send it to you by mail. If there are no issues found or it is determined to be a failure due to customer misuse, Samsung Authorised Service Center will return the original SSD to you. Please read the installation guide and FAQ carefully before returning the product to avoid any inconvenience caused by unnecessary returns.
