Adding Widgets to the Lock Screen on my Galaxy Device

The newest Galaxy AI update allows you to place widgets on your Lock Screen and Always on Display, enabling you to conveniently view important information without unlocking your phone. Check out the guide below for more information.

Please Note: This guide is designed for Australian variant Galaxy devices, if you have an international device and require further support click here to get in touch with your Samsung subsidiary. This setting is exclusively available on Galaxy devices operating on One UI 6.1 and above.

How to Video on 'Adding Widgets to the Lock screen'

1 Long press an empty space on your lock screen

2 Tap on + Widgets

3 Choose a category to view the pre-installed widgets

4 Then select your preferred widget

5 To remove a widget from your Lock screen tap on

6 Once you have finished adding widgets to your Lock Screen tap on Done

7 You will now be able to view the chosen Widgets from your Lock Screen or Always on Display

Note: Please ensure you have enabled your Always on Display settings. You can enable this setting in your Settings > Lock Screen and AOD > then toggle on Always on Display.
