What is Refrigerant in Samsung Refrigerators?

Substance used in a cooling mechanism of refrigerator, as the heat carrier which changes from gas to liquid and then back to gas in the refrigeration cycle. Most common commercial refrigerants are the chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs) which, because of their high ozone damaging potential, are being phased out.

In simpler terms, it is a cooling substance that is responsible for the cooling effect of the refrigerator.
