Why is Water not draining properly from the Washing machine?
1. Cautions when inserting the drain hose
Top load washing machine
- Don't exceed more than 3 meters when using the drain hose connected with other hoses.
- Be sure to drain water out at the end of the drain hose. The door sill should not be more than 5 cm high.
- Do not install the drain hose underneath the washing machine.
Front Load washing machine
Edge of Washbasin: To keep the spout of the drain hose bent, use the supplied plastic hose guide.
Sink Drain Pipe: Place the drain pipe above the sink siphon, ensuring that the end of the hose is at least 60 cm away.
On a Drain Pipe: Install the drain pipe 60-90 cm above the ground. It's best to use a vertical pipe of approximately 65 cm.
2. Is the drain hose clogged?
Top load washing machine
- Press the Start/Hold button, then press the Power button to turn off the machine.
- Ask the customer to detach the drain hose.
- Check for any blockages in the drain hose.
- Press the clip (if available) or directly pull out the drain hose pipe to check for clogs.
How to know that water is not draining out?
If the water does not drain within six minutes, a buzzer will sound, and the remaining time indicator will show "5C." This error code signals that the water is not draining out properly.
