Galaxy Smartphones: Smart Switch for Windows Phones

Smart Switch for Windows gives you the freedom to move your contacts, calendar, music, photos, and videos to your new Galaxy phone. Send your contacts, calendar, music, photos, and videos to your new Galaxy phone. First, download Samsung Smart Switch for Windows.

On your new Galaxy phone, navigate to Apps > Samsung > Smart Switch. Touch START. Review the TERMS OF SERVICE and then touch AGREE. Select your preferred method of transferring your data.

NOTE: To transfer your data using the USB cable, use the micro-USB connector that was included with your new phone.

Touch RECEIVE. Select Windows Phone. Open Smart Switch on your Windows phone. Touch START, review the TERMS OF SERVICE, and then touch AGREE. Select the same transfer method you chose on your new phone and then touch CONNECT. Review the apps and data that will be transferred and then touch SEND. On your new phone, touch RECEIVE. When the transfer is complete, touch CLOSE APP.
