Galaxy Tab S4: Turn On Iris Lock

To Set Up a Screen IRIS Lock Navigate to Apps screen → Touch Settings → Touch Lock screen → Touch Screen lock type → Touch Iris → Touch CONTINUE → Select Unlock Method (For this example, touch PIN) → Enter a PIN → Touch CONTINUE → Re-enter the PIN → Touch OK → Review Disclaimer → Touch Ok → align your eyes with the circles shown → Set display options for notifications → Touch DONE.

1 From a Home screen, swipe up or down to access the Apps screen

2 Touch Settings

3 Touch Lock screen.

4 Touch Screen lock type.

Note: If you have previously set up a different type of lock, you may be required to enter your credentials.

5 Touch Iris.

6 Review the information and then touch CONTINUE.

7 Select an unlock method and follow the on-screen instructions.

For this example, touch PIN.

8 Enter a PIN and then touch CONTINUE.

9 Re-enter the PIN and then touch OK.

10 Review the DISCLAIMER and if you agree, touch OK.

11 Touch CONTINUE.

12 Follow the on-screen instructions.

13 Hold your phone at eye level with the screen facing towards you. To scan your eyes, align your eyes with the circles shown on the screen.

14 Swipe to the left for best practices for unlocking your phone with iris lock.For this example, skip the tutorial by touching SKIP.

15 Set display options for notifications on the lock screen and then touch DONE.
