How to format the Memory card in Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge(SM-G935FD)?

A Memory card formatted on a computer may not be compatible with the device. Format the memory card on the device. Before formatting the memory card, remember to make backup copies of all important data stored in the memory card. The manufacturer’s warranty does not cover loss of data resulting from user actions. 

Navigate to Apps → Settings → Storage → SD card → Format → Done

Pictorial representation to format memory card are as follows: 

a). Tap on Apps icon from the Home screen.

b). Tap on Settings icon.

c). Select and tap on Storage settings.

d). Tap on SD card.

e). Select and tap on Format option.

f). Tap on Format.

NOTE : Formatting will erase all the data stored on the SD card. Take the backup before you format the SD card to avoid data loss.

g). Tap on Done once it is completed.
