What are the device requirements for upgrading your Samsung Smartphone via FOTA?

FOTA stands for Firmware Over The Air. You can update the handset software over the air without connecting your device to PC. FOTA update can be availed on both the data networks (3G/4G) and Wi-Fi networks.

Ensure your device requirements before upgrading your phone via FOTA : 

● Stable network status (3G / 4G or Wi-Fi).

● Enough battery capacity (More than 50%).

● Enough memory space (At least 100MB in USB storage).

● Do not remove the battery during upgrade.

● No rooted-phone.
