What is Backlight under Picture settings in Samsung H Series TV?

The Backlight option changes the intensity of the lighting source for the TV. The backlight should be adjusted to suit your lighting environment. In a low lighting environment the backlight should be set lower and in a bright light environment the backlight should be set higher.

IMPORTANT :

● Having the backlight set too high in a low light enviroment will increase eye fatigue and can create backlight bleeding.

● Having the backlight set too low in a bright light environment will make the picture look to dark and dull and limit your ability to view the on-screen images.
