Unlock PIN on a new SIM card inserted in my smartphone

Unlock PIN (Personal Identification Number)

PIN is set to prevent unauthorized user to access your SIM.

If your device locks when used with a SIM card and requesting for PIN code, simply insert your PIN code to unlock your SIM card.

A new SIM card usually comes with a temporary default PIN of 0123 or 1234.

*Important Note*

SIM card will be blocked if you enter incorrect PIN code for 3 times.

Once SIM has been blocked, it will request for PUK code.

If you does not have your PIN / PUK code, you have to contact your Mobile Network Operators (Telcos) to obtain your PIN / PUK code.
