Refrigerator has no power

There are a few ways to tell if your refrigerator has a power issue, such as if the lights suddenly do not turn on or if the interior feels warm. You can get your refrigerator back to working condition by checking a few things around your home, like the circuit breaker.
Check the circuit breakers to see if any have been tripped. If tripped, reset the breaker.
If the refrigerator keeps tripping the circuit, unplug the refrigerator from the current outlet and plug it into another outlet. If necessary, run an extension cord to another room because another outlet in the same room may be on the same circuit.
- If the fridge does not trip the circuit breaker when on a different circuit, service is not required. Contact an electrician for help with the tripping circuit.
- If the issue continues even on another circuit, visit our Support Center to request service.
- Unplug the refrigerator.
- Connect something else to the same outlet and see if it receives power. If it does not, contact an electrician for help with the outlet, and use a different outlet for the fridge.
- Verify that the outlet is grounded and is 230 / 240v, 50Hz. If the outlet does not meet these requirements, contact an electrician.
Inspect the power cord for any damage. If it's damaged, do not plug it back in, and visit the Support Center to request service.
If the fridge works on any outlet, then contact an electrician for help on the outlets it doesn't work on. If the fridge still will not power on, visit our Support Center to request service.
