How do I perform a factory reset on Samsung TV?

If you are experience problems with your Samsung TV, a simple rebooting of your device may help to fix the issue. When you perform a Factory Reset, all settings will revert to factory default.

If you simply want to reset one of the settings on your TV (i.e. picture or sound), please refer to your user manual for steps on how to reset the individual settings on your TV.

1 With your TV turned on, press the Home button on your TV remote. Then select Settings.
2 Scroll down and select General from the list of icons.
3 Select Reset.
4 A pop-up will appear asking you to enter your PIN. If you have not set up a PIN, the default number is 0000. Once you have entered your PIN, select Yes and your TV will then reset.

The factory reset process will now begin. Your TV may turn on and off several times before displaying the initial setup screen. Please do not turn off or unplug your TV while it is performing a factory reset.
