How to operate the remote control of Samsung AC?

Point the remote controller towards the RC reciever of the indoor unit.

When you properly pres the button on the remote control, you will hear a beep sound from the indoor unit and a transmit indicator appears on th RC's display.

When to change te battery?
When the battery is almost finished, icon will be displayed in the remote control's display. When the icon appears, please change the batteries. The remote controller requirestwo 1.5V triple A type batteries.
Where to store the remote control?
When you do not use the remote control for long time, remove the batteries from the remote control itself and store it.
