Galaxy A5: How to format the memory card?

A memory card formatted on a computer may not be compatible with the device.
It is better to format the memory card on the smartphone.
Follow the steps below to format.

Tap Apps and then tap Settings.

Tap Storage

Tap Format SD card
4
Tap Format SD card
5
Tap Erase everything.
Note: Before formatting the memory card, remember to make backup copies of all important data stored in the device. The manufacturer’s warranty does not cover loss of data resulting from user actions.
