How can I prevent my monitor from getting interference that can cause lines on the screen?

The location and the position of the monitor may influence the quality and other features of the monitor.
If there are any sub woofer speakers near the monitor, unplug and relocate the sub woofer to another room. Remove all electronic devices around the monitor such as radios, fans, clocks and telephones that are within 3 feet (1 meter) of the monitor. Also you can purchase another video cable with thicker shield VGA cable.
